Hi, I’m Neena, a photographer, storyteller, and mentor based in the Netherlands.

I create honest, emotive portraits that help people feel seen, confident, and fully themselves. I work with entrepreneurs, creatives, musicians, professionals, and anyone who wants a portrait that feels genuinely them.

My creative journey began in India, with sketchbooks, poetry, and a love for everyday colour. After years as a researcher in the U.S., I traded my lab coat for a camera in 2012 and never looked back.

Today, I bring a relaxed, thoughtful approach to every session, creating portraits that feel natural, personal, and timeless.

My work has been featured by the BBC and through collaborations with Canva, IIT Bombay, and Asha for Education. In 2025, I received Second Prize in the Municipality of Enschede’s Fall Photography Challenge, and my work was selected for the Enschede 700 anniversary exhibition and book.

I’m also the founder of Photowalks Twente, a growing community of 50+ photographers and creatives in the east of the Netherlands. Every month, we explore a different part of the country, practise photography, share ideas, and build connections.

Whether I’m behind the camera or bringing photographers together, my goal is the same: to create spaces where people feel comfortable being themselves, and see what’s possible when they do.
